If dark spots are getting in the way of your glow, we say “Don’t get mad…get even.” This professional and natural skin brightening service is designed to instantly treat uneven skin tone caused by hyperpigmentation from sun damage, melasma/pregnancy mask, stretchmarks, scars, and more.

That’s why Bryght® Skin Brightening works by targeting only excess melanin by inhibiting an enzyme in your skin called tyrosinase which is responsible for the extra melanin production.

Cleanse

CLEANSE gently removes traces of dirt, creams, lotions, or oils that are found on the skin, while naturally numbing and preparing the skin for steps 2-4.

Exfoliate

EXFOLIATE preps, polishes, and refines the skin, revealing a more even skin tone. Contains an antioxidant-rich combination of known brightening ingredients.

Bryghten™

BRYGHTEN treats and prevents hyperpigmentation with its unique combination of plant extracts to illuminate and reveal your natural skin tone.

The treatment is safe and effective for use on most external areas. This includes the face, underarms, knees, elbows, inner thighs, derriere/bum cheeks, and intimate areas such as the nipples, anal region, or labia. Bryght®  versatile solutions are designed to cater to all skin types and your unique skincare needs, even on sensitive skin and areas. If you have any known sensitivities, we strongly recommend doing a small patch test before application.

Usually skin tone is  1-3 shades lighter after the first professional treatment, but every skin type is different so results may vary..

This skincare treatment uses gentle and all-natural plant-based ingredients. Unlike many skin brightening creams and treatments, they are free from parabens, fragrance, silicones and colorants. Products are not tested on animals and use only vegan ingredients. And while we removed everything you don’t want, products are infused with natural antioxidants to add an additional beauty boost to the treatment.

Your Cerologist will recommend the appropriate number of sessions based on your skin type and  desired result.  Most clients achieve their natural skin tone back after 3-5 professional treatments and should maintain at home with Bryght® homecare product solutions available at participating Waxing the City locations

Professional treatment service times start around 15 minutes. Time is dependent on the area that is being treated.

It is highly advised to remove the hair prior to treatment, an open follicle will allow for deeper product absorption to see better results. So book your next wax first!

Bryght® Skin Brightening services provide the professional expertise to see better results than using an at-home brightening skincare treatments. Unlike bleaching or lightening products, Bryght(r) Skin Brightening will not over-lighten your skin tone. If you want to bring the glow home with you, however,  ask your Cerologist how to maintain results between professional service visits with Bryght® homecare product solutions.

Bryght® all-natural formula will safely brighten dark spots and sun damage to reveal a more even skin tone. You will not achieve any over lightening, where the skin becomes lighter than your baseline skin color.

Bryght® Skin Brightening is safe and dermatologist-approved. All of our skincare products are formulated and designed to be gentle and mild enough for use on sensitive skin and areas. If you have known sensitivities, we strongly recommend doing a patch test before applying to a sensitive area.

It is not recommended for use while pregnant or breastfeeding due to heightened hormones as this is when pigmentation can be caused. This pigmentation, called melasma or “pregnancy mask” can last for some time after the pregnancy. That’s when Bryght® Skin Brightening Treatment can help by targeting that excess melanin production. As always,  consult your primary care physician or dermatologist when selecting skincare products and services while pregnant or breastfeeding.

Aftercare for Bryght® Skin Brightening Treatment is simple. Here are a few tips to follow post-treatment: 

  • Apply a cool compress to soothe any irritation or redness. 
  • Avoid the gym, hot tubs, sauna, and sweating 2 hours after treatment.
  • Avoid harsh creams, exfoliants, and abrasive skincare products.
  • Avoid the sun and always wear a minimum of SPF 30+ (it’s always a good idea to make sunscreen your beauty bestie, anyway).

Sun damage is one of the top causes of hyperpigmentation. Excessive sun exposure can cause sunspots to develop on unprotected skin.
