If you’ve hopped on the eyebrow lamination train, you know just how good waking up with effortlessly full and defined brows feels — no need to fumble with your spoolie or deal with uncooperative eyebrow gels before you’ve even had your morning coffee (ugh!). What if that feeling could last even longer? We’ll let you in on a not-so-secret secret: with proper brow lamination aftercare, it can — and consider this your first-class ticket to brows that stay on track.
We’re sharing a few of our expert tips to keep your brow lamination results rocking for weeks. We’ll cover:
- Why brow lamination aftercare matters
- Pre-lamination tips (aftercare starts before your appointment!)
- Why our Cerologists’ technique makes a real difference
- Five brow lamination aftercare tips for long-lasting results
Why brow lamination aftercare matters

Our Cerologists are trained in expert techniques to maximize your results in the studio — and make them stay. But what happens when you leave the studio can make the difference between your glam lasting for days versus weeks.
Without aftercare, laminated brows can lose their shape faster or start to feel dry, patchy, or irritated. In some cases, improper care can also lead to hair breakage or in rare cases, infection. Luckily, a few simple dos, don’ts, and product swaps can help protect your results and keep your brows looking perfectly tailored. Even better? It takes way less effort than daily wrangling of unlaminated brows. (More on these tips later!)
Caring for laminated brows starts before your appointment
It’s true! To get the best results from your eyebrow lamination (bye-bye, unruly brow hairs!), follow these simple guidelines:
- Stop using retinols and AHAs at least two days before your appointment to avoid reactions with the lamination cream.
- Don’t wax, thread, or tweeze your brows immediately before your brow lamination service to prevent irritation. (For best results, leave the hair removal to us!)
- Avoid prolonged sun exposure that could lead to a sunburn before your appointment. (Remember that SPF is your skincare bestie!)
The secret to bold looks: Our brow experts
Before your brow lamination treatment, your Cerologist will get to know you, your brows, and skincare routine — because your best brow look should feel like you. They’ll ask about your skincare products, do patch testing when needed, and personalize your service from the start. During the lamination process, your Cerologist will use expert techniques and high-quality formulas to help every hair stay beautifully into place. Essentially, their job is to make your glam unstoppable.
5 brow lamination aftercare tips for long-lasting results

Following these post-treatment tips from our pros will keep that fresh-out-of-the-studio feeling going long after you leave (like, weeks!). Here’s our holy-grail guide:
1. Keep your hands off!
We know it’s tempting to touch and feel the smooth, tailored results of a fresh brow lamination, but it could fumble your results. Avoid touching, rubbing, or styling your brows for the first 24 hours while they set.
2. Rock your no-makeup skin for 24 hours post-lamination
Keep makeup products away from your brows for at least a day after your appointment to prevent irritation and allow the lamination products to work their magic.
3. Avoid getting eyebrows wet for 24 hours
Skip the steamy saunas, hot showers, and intense workouts for at least a day after your appointment to allow your brows to set. (Stick to normal-temperature yoga for a day!)
4. Wait a week before adding your next facial to the calendar
Allow at least seven days before treating yourself to a facial after getting your brows laminated. This ensures that no other products can interfere with your results.
5. Opt for gentle, hydrating skincare products
Think: Oil-based cleansers, brow serums, and oils like jojoba and shea that lock in moisture. Keeping your skin (and brows) hydrated prevents breakage and helps your lamination last longer.
How long should your eyebrow lamination treatment last?
That full, tailored brow look should last around six weeks, thanks to our Cerologists’ expert techniques combined with the high-quality products used in our studios. But your results could last up to eight weeks if you follow the tips from our beauty pros — especially during those critical first 24 hours post-treatment. (A little brow TLC now, a whole lot of effortless polish later.)
Keep your glam going with brow lamination aftercare
Brow lamination allows you to bask in that effortless, bold brow look without the hassle of day-to-day upkeep. Just get up, admire your perfectly tailored brows in the mirror, and maybe even snap a selfie (with arches that strong, how could you not?). To keep the good-brow energy rolling, follow our Cerologists’ aftercare tips above to make your results last for weeks. Low fuss. High confidence. Brows that understood the assignment.
