Tania was born and raised in Mexico City. Her education includes Early Child Education, Regency Beauty Institute and Aveda Training Program. Tania speaks Spanish fluently and something interesting about herself...."I used to work as a magician's assistant". Hobbies include: ballet, collecting vinyl LP's, walking her daughter with their dog, and photography. When asked why she likes waxing, her reply...."I am addicted to removing hair and I find it super fun...it's my passion to take care of a guest and make them feel welcome". Tania volunteers for Aveda Global Warming initiatives helping to raise money for water quality in foreign countries.

Shane is from Lafayette, CO and graduated from Emily Griffith Technical College with her esthetician license. Shane is also currently attending Front Range Community College earning her AA degree. Shane has 2 loves in her life....her two teenage sons. Yikes! Even while raising her two sons Shane still finds time for cooking, yoga, hiking, singing and dancing. Shane says that waxing satisfys her need for instant gratification and she loves working in an efficient and energetic atmosphere.

Meghan grew up in Westminster, attended Metro Community College and then the College of International Esthetics.  She started out wanting to be a history teacher...."I learned that wasn't my calling, but I'm very, and I mean very good with names and dates. I love history and I am a history channel nerd....and will pick a war movie over a chick flick every time!"  Meghan says I don't like waxing.....I LOVE waxing. Waxing is upbeat and I excel at it.  Time away from work includes checking out local bands, going to concerts, hiking and sand volleyball.  Meghan also supports Race for the Cure on an annual basis.

Corinne began her journey with a degree in psychology and worked in corporate America as a trainer.  She decided to change careers and expanded her education to include her esthetics license.  Over the past several years, Corinne began writing articles related to skin care for the Boulder Examiner.com.  Corinne says she, "loves meeting and waxing new clients and also the waxing veterans....new clients love their first-time results and veterans appreciate how thorough I am".  Hobbies include camping, biking, reading, cooking, and tequilla!  Corinne also contributes time to her kids elementary school working on the Green Team....a program focused on adding green initiatives into the schools. 

Hometown: Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Attended Richards Beauty College and has been waxing for over a decade. Krista likes art, reading, and music. Something interesting about Krista....she is currently writing a book of poetry (we suggest she name her book "Waxing Poetic"). Volunteer efforts have focused on women.....low income health care needs and prenatal care.

Hometown: Arvada, CO, left to experience  the sunny skies of San Diego when she graduated from Mannelo School of Beauty. Talia loves the outdoors, spending time with family, and yoga. Talia also loves to run and water activities of surfing and swimming. "Waxing requires an eye for beauty/detail" she states. " I love the fast pace and energetic atmosphere."

Sara hometown is Kennebunkport, Maine (say that 3 times fast!!!)  She then grew up in Montana and then went back to the east cost to attend high school.  Sara attended Concentric Healing Institute & Holistic Esthetics where she received her esthetician license.  Love for the outdoors brought her to Colorado as she enjoys skiing and snowboarding.  Sara says she loves waxing and the attention to detail that is demands.

Brenna is from Broomfield, Colorado.  She has attended both Pikes Peak Community College and College of International Esthetics.  Brenna is a "mother of 2, loves fashion, likes to cook and is a very passionate soul".  When asked why she likes waxing...she said for many reasons, "it's fast paced, and she is intrigued by hair growth cycles". Hobbies include shopping (this has to re related to her love of fashion), hiking, dancing, soccer and snowboarding. 

Summer Hartshorn is a graduate of Antoine DuChez Academy and has many (when you get to this many years you don't list the number any more!) years experience in the beauty/waxing industry. She has worked in various spas in Denver and Minneapolis metropolitan areas as an esthetician, waxing specialist, and spa coordinator. Career highlights include featured waxing specialist on TV show "Ambush Makeover", make-up specialist for many fashion shows, participated in Mutts & Models 2006 & 2007, provision of services to many local celebrities and several members of the Denver Broncos cheerleading squad. Summer's latest endeavor is taking on the role of co-owner as she opened Waxing the City in November of 2003.

Alexandria Jimenez attended The Marquise Aveda Institute and has worked in up-scale salons in both Chicago and Denver for 8 years, prior to her involvement at Waxing the City. Alex established herself as a leader in the industry and quickly advanced into spa coordinator responsibilities. Alex made her TV debut in 2004 with a staring role in the fun and light-hearted "Elimidate" show. Closer to home she participated along side many local celebrities in the Mutts & Models Fashion Show in 2005, 2006, & 2007. Alex's is a co-owner of Waxing the City, helping to open our doors in November of 2003.
