Our philosophy of “hire the very best and train them to be better” has produced a group of forward thinking and an extremely talented group of employees. Many of our team members have been helping to build company success for years. Waxing the City has a very low employee turnover rate as compared to industry standards. Waxing the City is owned by an innovative group of women with both expertise and passion for company success. Each owner possesses a unique and distinct set of skills that contributes to the teamwork and synchronicity of the company. Robin Schoh, CEO Responsibilities include operations, leasing, marketing & advertising, and human resource management. Robin’s background includes 14 years as a health care executive and 10 years in property management. She decided to leave corporate America and pursue her entrepreneurial spirit with the development of Waxing the City.
Marilyn Hartshorn, CFO
Oversight of financial operations, accounting and software systems, and information technology. Marilyn has consulted with many large corporations, throughout the Colorado region, helping to implement accounting software systems and consulting on a variety of financial issues. Summer Hartshorn, CTO & Alexandria Jimenez, CTO These two ladies concern themselves with the nuts and bolts of the technical aspects of service provision and the logistics of the waxing processes. Duties include: hiring, training, education, and on-going quality/process improvement. Having worked in salons including Chicago, Minneapolis, and Denver they bring a vast amount of experience regarding the technical aspects of the waxing industry.
